He was born on October 5, 1939, to Jack and Reba Prince. LaVerne served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of Monte Vista Church for 36 years.
LaVerne is survived by his wife of 63 years Sharon Russell Prince; children Kim Russell, Stacy (Mandy) Prince, and Amy (Allen) Woods; grandchildren Sarah (Jake) Rhyne, Logan Matthews, Jacob Woods, Samanda Prince and Mace Fagan and one sister Linda Henderson.
The family will hold private services at a later date.
