Liz Ledbetter, age 47, of Alcoa, went to be with her Mom on March 11, 2017. She was a 1987 graduate of Alcoa High School. She was very giving, loving and caring. She was a passionate writer. She held all of her loved ones very close to her heart. She wanted everyone to remember her laughter instead of her tears. She endured a long illness, and is now pain free. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and fiance. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ledbetter; and son-in-law, Andrew Owens. She is survived by her fiance, B.D. Hitch; children, Nicole (Jay) Barnette, Chris (Stephanie) McMurray, Hayley Owens, and Brennan McMurray; grandchildren, Destiny, Emery, Hayden, and Kaitlyn; father, Luke Ledbetter; brother, James (Karen)Ledbetter; sisters, Missy Ledbetter, Patti Ledbetter Scarbro; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
