I remember sister Nancy as very humble, committed, faithful and kind. She was always there at the church faithfully and always willing to serve. I been at highland church since I was a child because of that I have seen a lot people come and go for varies reason, but sister Nancy was always there. I admired even when she got very sick she refused to stay away from the church. She was faithful to the end. She was and is a true Warrior and for that I will always remember her and cherish the days the Good Lord had blessed us with her. Sister Nancy, you shall not be forgotten but cherished and celebrate. We miss you but we rejoice that you are with our Heavenly Father and rejoicing in His presence. This is not goodbye but see you later.

I remember being 4 years old and she would teach me Bible lessons and as I grew in the church she was the coordinator that facilitated my volunteerism in the church. She was awesome at gathering volunteers with her famous line “...do you want to do a good deed?”
Nancy’s heart was for the children and she would from her own money always buy supplies for the children’s ministry, and think of fun activities to aide the ministry. She was my coworker at the church. I tell you Nancy was so sweet but can be spicy if you pushed a wrong button; she would put you in your place in Jesus name.
Nancy my personal reminder app; she would always tell me “Today is Wednesday...” and that meant my timesheet were due in. She didn’t care what part of the world you were in, she would call you to remind you of the day and what responsibilities that needed to be tacked for that day.
This marvelous woman would remember everyone’s Birthday in the church and call them and if they were on staff she would with her own money buy a cake for the staff. As I grew into a woman she was there for every milestone in my life and always congratulated. She loved my family and went on family outing bowling with us. She loved husband and children and always showed care and concern.
Nancy I will miss you so much. I know you are in heaven you were so faithful so hard working. I thank God for the rest you have now in Him.

Nancy was my Sunday School teacher when I was 4 years old and she would teach me Bible lessons and told me how Jesus loved me. I grew up in the church she was the coordinator that facilitated my volunteerism activities i.e. making posters for VBS and creating arts and crafts activities for the Nursery Ministry.

Nancy’s heart was for the children and she would from her own money always buy supplies for the children’s ministry, and think of fun activities to aide the ministry.

Nancy was the most faithful individual I knew. If she gave you her word she would do something you better believe it would get done come, rain, sleet or snow. Nancy was more faithful the United States Postal service. Walking into church you would always see Nancy. She took pride in her service to the Lord. She never wanted to leave her work unfinished. I admired her drive and passion.

I met Sis Nancy 15 years ago and she was so nice to me that I thought it was fake, cause being from NY it’s rare to find someone that nice. I asked my wife about her and she was like no that’s Nancy, she is truly THAT nice. She remained that way till the last time I saw her a few months ago. SIP Nancy I will never ever forget you.

The servant leader that reflected character of Christ of meekness and compassion she emanated every time you encountered her. I known Sister Nancy for several years as I attended Highland Church as a young adult. She always carried a smile. Such a pillar in the ministry and Kingdom. I know she is in the precious hand of the Savior. I pray the peace and strength of the Lord over the family.

Sis. Nancy was a beautiful and diligent servant of the Lord! Whenever I asked her if she needed help on some project, she would smile with delight. I loved her rich Southern accent and her anointed singing voice! She was a valuable mainstay at Highland Church, and a living example of what serving Jesus Christ through others really is. I will truly miss her. Enjoy Heaven, Sis. Nancy; you have served well, and enriched MY life! With sincere prayers for God's comfort to her family... Blessings Barbara J. Wilson, Highland Church 🙏🏽💞
