SHAMBLIN, Norman V., age 86 of Alcoa, TN., passed away at home on Monday, November 26, 2012. He was an electrical engineer, retired from Martin- Marietta, and he was of the Baptist faith. He was husband to Dorothy P. Shamblin; father to Kay (Curtis) Moreland; step-father to Beverly (Larry) McNeily, David Payne, John Payne, and Ann (Marvin) Sutton; grandfather to Whitney, Cherie, Lori; step-grandfather to Douglas, Brandon (Grace), Alicia (Bret), Andrew (Anne), and Leah; brother to Austin, Arnold and Jack (Donna) Shamblin. He had 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Norman joins his mother and father, Lily and Benjamin Shamblin; daughter and granddaughter, Terri and Sydney Simpson; sister, Dorothy Kate and brothers, Henegar and Bryan Shamblin.
