Opal C. Bounds, age 92 of Knoxville passed away on December 11, 2017. She was a member of Norwood United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents Sherman and Maggie Claiborne; siblings: Mrs. Carrie (Roma) Shelby, Mr. Earl Claiborne (Francis), Mrs. Ruby (Nick) Gibson, Mrs. Ruth (Buck) Chambers and Mrs. Dean (Bill) Harris. Opal was proud of her previous employment as the administrative assistant with Attorney, Russell Kramer, and with L.T. Ross, along with the Community Action Committee. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Bounds-Anderson and husband Gary Anderson; special grandson, Nygel Bounds and great grandchildren Alex and Alyssa, along with several nieces and nephews.
