Peggy Ann Williams, age 85, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Peggy was a devoted mother and cherished “Memaw,” whose love and warmth touched every life she encountered.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Williams. Peggy is survived by her children, Brenda Watson, David (Brandy) Williams, and Amy Williams; grandchildren, Jarrod (Sarah), Mariah (Anthony), David (Gail), Jason, Zeke, Brittany (Andrew), Sage (Brandon), and Malachi; and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Lizzie, Silas, Lillie, Savannah, Brittany, David Lee, Teagan, and Vincent. She also leaves behind her faithful and beloved dog, Lizzie.
Peggy’s life was centered around her family. She was the heart of every gathering and a steady source of love, comfort, and encouragement. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her children and all those who knew and loved her.
The family welcomes friends for a Visitation at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1pm-3pm with a Graveside Service to follow at 3pm in the Garden of Devotion.
