Weber and I worked together for many years at Graybar in Norcross, GA.  He was a great boss, but better than that, he was my friend.  We shared a lot of stories about old Graybar friends and his collection of all things Graybar.  The stories about his hiking adventures were interesting, to say the least.  I couldn't wait for his return to tell me about his latest journey.  My prayers are with his family.  May you find comfort knowing he is in a better place.

I did not know Mr. Weber, but have been friends with his daughter, Kim , for years.  Kim, I am so glad that you had time with your Dad.  He is in a better place now and out of pain.   Sending prayers to you and the rest of the family.

When I arrived at Graybar in Ft Lauderdale in 1976 Weber was already working there. Although I was officially his supervisor, I have to say Weber did a terrific job of keeping me in line and helping me adjust to doing things his way. He was a great guy and I loved talking and visiting with him in the years after our retirements. Paula and I want Karen and his family to know that we will miss him and were proud to have known him for all these years.

I met Weber in 1991. We were good friends for over 20 years. When we first met he informed me not to call him Bob, just Weber.- so to this day he is listed in my contacts as Just Weber ;-)
Weber was quite the wordsmith and my vocabulary is better today because I knew him! He had a quick wit, lots of good stories and was fun to be around. He shared many articles,stories and Graybar collectibles with me- my favorite being the Graybar radio he found in a flea market in Atlanta- he bought it then delivered it to me in Cincinnati (in the back of his Saturn). Today it has a place of honor in our family room and I will think of Weber every time I look at it.
Cindy and I did get to see Weber in August. Despite his health battles, he was in good spirits and we are so very glad we got to see him.

Our thoughts are with all of you. Many stories of card games well played and evenings spent at the Wood funeral home with  the Weber grandparents,other family,cousins,aunts,uncles and good story tellers all. Kim,Tom and I remember you when you were a little baby.

Our hearts go out to you and the family.  Please know he is at peace, and now your healing may begin.  He was a very fun and loving guy.  Always a smile and something good to say.
