Violet Dillard, 91, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Violet was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church. Preceded by husband, Emory Wilburn Dillard; and daughter, Dean Key. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and June Dillard, Darrell and Susan Dillard; daughters and sons-in-law, Freda and Bill Wilson; Julia and Roger Brantley; Connie and Greg Loy; 13 grandchildren, Sharon Key, Jennifer Karp, Davon Dillard, Monica Hurst, Chanse Wilson, Tonya Fitzgerald, Ron and Russ Brantley, Brian Dillard, Kelly Seaton, Lacy Puckett and Neil and Eric Loy; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Axley; brother, Alvin Duckett; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, July 18, 2014, from 3-5 p.m. at Sherwood Chapel. Service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. Mike Parker and Rev Brooky officiating.
