William C Bell
November 16, 1922 – September 2, 2012
BELL, William C., Sr., age 89 of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lafollette and was retired from the U. S. Postal Service as Superintendent of Mails of the Southeast region. William was a 3rd Degree Master Mason and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He served with the US Army during World War II. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Amy Bell; beloved wife, Helen R. Bell; brother, J.C. Bell and sister, Helen Ridings. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Robin Bell, Dr. Donald and Beverly Bell; granddaughter, Becky Bell Siedler and husband, David; grandson, Jonathan Bell and wife, Lisa; 4 great-grandsons, William, Spencer , Louis Bell, and Jonathan Thomas Siedler ; sister, Jeanette Smith; several nieces and nephews. Service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Young-Williams Animal Center, 3201 Division St., Knoxville, TN., 37919, and Horse Haven of Tennessee, P. O.
