William Thomas Estep, age 90, passed away at home on July 10, 2025, in Harriman, TN. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. His desire to serve the Lord and for higher education led him to gain his Masters in Divinity at Memphis Theological Seminary later in life. He served many years pastoring at Cumberland Presbyterian Churches throughout Tennessee until his retirement in 2002.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Louise Estep and parents Sarah and William Estep, and daughter Lois Estep.
Bill is survived by beloved daughter Kathy Boyer, sons Doug Estep and Bill Estep, daughters Teresa Williams and Donna Tate, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Special thanks to Senior Helpers of Knoxville and all the great caregivers that have been there for him.
He will be loved and missed by his friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s in Bill’s name.
Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens, in the Garden of Victory, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, for an 11am Graveside Service.
