Wilma June Davenport, age 81, of Knoxville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 18, 2018. June was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Mildred Tipton; husband, Ted Davenport. She is survived by daughters, Karen (Jerry) Bedford, Terri Davenport, Jodi Reno (Billy), and Cindy Davenport; grandchildren, Kara, Ashley, Cory, Cody, and Braden; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Chloe, Corbin, Maci, and Easton; brothers, David Tipton and Dickie Tipton; sister, JoElla McCall. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Hillcrest United Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Dennis Ford and Rev. Richard Richter officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, August 24, 2018 at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 12:00 pm graveside service, with Rev. Monty Walton officiating.
