The family moved to Nelson where Fran lost her Mother at the age of 12. In 1944 the family again moved to Victoria where Frances worked at the Royal Bank. At the end of WWII she met and married Wesley, who started up a Plumbing and Heating Business. Keeping the books and raising 3 children kept Fran very busy. Then, it was a taste of the farm life in Courtenay for 13 years prior to moving to Aldergrove in 1980, where she grew a huge garden and loved square dancing. Taking her travelling around the world, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Mediterranean, Russia and the Baltic. She also volunteered at various clubs and did Income Tax for many years at the Seniors Centre. Fran is predeceased by her brother Morris and sister Betty and survived by her two daughters, Vivian and Hilda, of Abbotsford; son Ralph, of Kamloops; six Grandchildren, Hayley, Becky, Michael, Suzanne, Shannon and Shaun; and 10 Great Grandchildren, Kelsey, Kaylan, Kaneil, Ashton, Jaiden, Mackenzie, Brianna, Vanessa, Damien and Landon.
