Its been one whole year since you’ve been gone. 
There have been so many times i have missed you. You are never forgotten.  
When i look around in my apartment I remember how you helped me clean, and how you rearranged when i was gone.  Everything reminds me of you my friend. 
How we went to Chiliwack  a number of times and got fresh milk, cheese from farmers. How we went to Ladner farms for veg.  Miss doing these things.  Have not met anyone else who loved these things as much as you and i. 

And I remember how quick you were to say ‘yes’ to ministry things - so gung ho to help others.  

It’s Thanksgiving day in Canada today.  I am so, so thankful that you were in my life.  Best gift God gave me.

Seija was my nanny for our 3 children in the mid 80’s
We became friends  and I am so sorry to hear about her passing
She was a very kind and loving person and my most sincere condolences to her sister and family and other relatives
I will always remember Seija 
We named the rock where she used to sit at our cabin at Cortes ‘Seija’s Rock’ and it will always be Seija’s Rock for my family

Thank you for always showing kindness to everyone.  I have fond memories of you singing in the Faith choir.  Now you can sing like never before :)

Seija & Jan went for a walk along the river one day.



This was our small group potluck to close our small group study, June 19, 2019. Seija made the fruit salad creation. 


Seija loved to experience Deer Lake. Seija rented a kayak to spend time on Deer Lake. She also walked the pathways with a dear friend from the Finnish Residence. We walked around it one time together. 

I really liked her prayers. It is so sad that our bodies die, but our souls meet in heaven. Rest in peace in The father's home, free from sorrow and pain.

Seija was such a generous giver and a women of prayer.  She constantly shares her sources with those who are in need.  We will be missing her her big smile and her love in Christ.

Seija has planted many beautiful gardens.  This  especially lovely one that she planted gave her hope to carry on after her diagnosis. 

Seija is preparing fresh carrots for her juicer.  She had great knowledge of alternative health and did her best to live a healthy lifestyle.

Seija loved cats and flowers.  These are from her cousins Merja, Jaro, Sirkka,  Pauli, Lea, Raimo and Marja, who've always been there for her.  

My beautiful sister, I have loved you all your life.  You left too soon.  My grief is deep.  The Lord Jesus whom you loved and faithfully served to the end gives comfort by His Word, that

     "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow nor crying.  There shall be no more pain for the former things have passed away.  ...I make all things new."
                                                    Revelation 21:4-5    ... till we meet on the other side...

Seija, your life was lived loving and caring for people as unto Jesus.  You were one of the most giving, serving, living the bible people i know.  
I miss you dearly my friend; God’s bosom buddy for me.  Am glad you are no longer in pain, and in the arms of our Heavenly Father; and worshiping Jesus.  I can see you singing, dancing, rejoicing with people who have gone before you.  Love you lots my friend in Christ.
