Sue passed away in hospital after a courageous two-week battle with multiple illnesses, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and love.
Sue was the beloved wife of Brian Anderson, a devoted mother, and a proud grandmother to six grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Family meant everything to Sue, and she created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and care.
Sue spent many years as a dedicated teacher at Burnaby South Secondary and South Slope Elementary. She loved her students deeply and took great pride in helping young people learn, grow, and feel supported. Her compassion and encouragement left a lasting impact on countless lives.
In her personal time, Sue enjoyed scrapbooking, preserving memories and celebrating the moments that mattered most.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring, with further details to come.
In keeping with Sue’s wishes, no donations are requested.
In honour of Sue’s love for memories and storytelling, a scrapbook will be available at the Celebration of Life. If you have a photo with Sue or something that reminds you of her, the family warmly invites you to bring it to include in the book.
Sue will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her dedication to others, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
