January 2, 1996 – May 10, 2019
William Alexander Burton, 23, of Little Rock, AR made his journey into Heaven on May 10, 2019. He was born on January 2, 1996 and Born Again the winter of 2004. Alex came into this world way too early as a preemie, and he left this world way too soon. Alex graduated from Joe T. Robinson with the class of 2015. He played football with the Senators and was part of the Art Club. Alex enjoyed all forms of art mediums but sketching seemed to be his favorite. Music was also a major part of his life. Writing lyrics and composing beats occupied much of his free time. Alex was in the floral industry, where he gained many supportive friendships that quickly became family to him. Alex was a member of Martindale Baptist Church. He cherished the conversations he had with his Brother in Christ, Pastor Bill Harris, who will be officiating the service. Alex was preceded in death by two grandfathers, H. Ray Burton “Grandpa” (2011) and Orley O. Feagins “Fafa” (2018); also by two aunts, Debbie Feagins “Unc Deb” (2011) and Dana Feagins “Aunt Dana” (1977); along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins, great grandparents and close friends. Left to cherish his memories and continue living his legacy are parents Hal Burton and Kim Feagins Burton, sister Kayleigh Hunter (and Cody), brother Trey Burton, and a very special niece whom he deeply adored, Lilly Hunter. He is also survived by both of his grandmothers, Rhoda Feagins “Grandmama” and Ann Burton “Grandma” and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. All who knew Alex know how dearly he loved his family and close friends, and that he would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need, whether he knows them or not. Such a gentle and genuine soul, gone too soon, like way too many others. Paul Bearers are: Curtis Gordon, Tony Carlin , Chuck Adams, Rommel Gill, Boe Jackson & Richard Oberhaus. Honorary Pall bearers include: Trey Burton, Cody Hunter, Todd Nespor, Robbie Harper, Randy Harper, and Nick Ford. Please reach out to close family and friends on Facebook for details regarding memorial events and celebrations of life details coming up.

May God comfort each of the family members as you walk through this valley of the shadow of death. We did not know Alex , but we’ve lost sons a little younger than him and we cherish their memory just as y’all do of Alex . It’s heartbreaking to lose family member especially at a young age. We are of the Christian faith and we dealt with our pain based on our belief that God is still sovereign, even when we don’t understand tragedy.
We’ve found that each person in the families has to grieve in their own way and own time, so we encourage each of you to be aware and allow that process in the coming months. And also you may not think so in the next few weeks, but as time passes you will be able to think more on the good times that you had together and less about losing this young man.
It is always good to hear people remember and name the one you’ve lost. Alex will not be forgotten by friends and I hope they’ll share their memories of him with you.

If only you could see the memories and all the people who love and miss you already. You were the sweetest, kindest, biggest kid-loving child there ever was and I hate we have to miss out on where in life you would have gone but no matter what or where it would have been great because you are a great person. Fly over and watch over everyone from above. Grab Trey by the shoulders and show him around the curves and corners helping him navigate life like you always have... WOLF-PACK REMEMBER...... Help your mom and dad... send them love on the wind so they know you are okay. I love you Ax man!

Roro, Kimborley Ann, Trey, Kayleigh & Cody you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Alex will be terribly missed. One of my favorite memories is when we went to the State Capitol to look at Christmas lights and I still have a picture of myself, Alex, and Bo when he was just a baby laying in the middle of the floor being silly. I love all of you so very much!!!!!

Alex was so loving and caring. My best memory of him is when me and Heather convinced him to go to his senior prom. He didn’t want to go but we took him and he had such a blast. He ordered pictures and made us pictures that he splatter painted. I still have it. He was so loved and will be missed dearly. ❤️❤️

Alex was a good friend, great listener, and a fun workout buddy! He couldn't keep up with me on the treadmill and only wanted to lift!😊 I always enjoyed his company at work and at the gym. The family will be in my prayers. Love you Alex, you will be missed❤️💔
