Barbara Kay Burtcher

Kay Burtcher born Barbara Kay (Mayhan), on June 5,1951 left this earth for her heavenly home on September 1, 2024. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Otis Dean (O.D.) Burtcher; her only child, Bobby McDaniel; her parents, Carl & Floy Mayhan; 3 sisters, Wanda Rollans-Hygail, Brenda Winemiller & Vernell Plunkett; 4 brothers-in-law; and many other family members and friends.

She is survived by her 4 grandchildren, Aaron (Raena) McDaniel, Zachary, Matthew and Sara McDaniel; and 3 Great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Madeline & John McDaniel who were the icing on her cake of life. She loved all her grand and great-grandchildren To The Moon and Back. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Virgie Winkler & Carletta Garver (David); and brothers-in-law Rusty Winemiller & Paul Burtcher. She had many nieces and nephews and many friends she loved dearly.

Kay was a retired Apartment Manager; she loved the Lord and was a member of Pinnacle Assembly of God. She loved to sing country music back in the day, to shoot pool and play shuffleboard. She loved her cat Max and her dog Lady who are waiting on the Rainbow Bridge to join her. She is survived by her 3-legged cat, Sparrow.

A celebration of life for Barbara will be held Friday, September 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Pinnacle Assembly of God, 7803 N Guenther Rd, Roland, AR 72135, officiated by Pastor Gary Childers and Pastor William Willis. Inurnment will be at a later date at Pinecrest Cemetary on Hwy 5, Alexander in the columbarium under the letter K. The family asks that memorial donations in Kay's name be made to Pinnacle Assembly of God Church or the American Cancer Society in Memory of her late husband, her son and sister Brenda. Her favorite Bible verses were John 3:16 and Jeremiah 29:11.
