Barbara James, 77, of Bryant, passed away July 9, 2018. She was born July 23, 1940 in Batesville, Arkansas, to Ralph and Florance Phillips Craig. Barbara loved to garden and read her books, but most of all she had a love for animals like no other, especially her two cats, DC and Harvey Dude and two dogs, Spook and Sassy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Lytle Craig. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Charles James; three daughters, Kathy and Karen James, and Brenda Zeno; two brothers, Phillip and Scott Craig; two sisters, Judy McClendon and Beth Hollowoa; five grandchildren, Nathan Piccirilli, Stephanie (Josh) Massey, Justin (Jennifer) Reeves, Matthew (Elizabeth) Gray, and Madison (Colton) Aaron; and nine great- grandchildren, Spencer and Cayla Piccirilli, Brody and Kylie Massey, Noah and Isabella Gray, Mason and Lawson Reeves, and Landon Aaron.
A visitation will begin Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander, Arkansas. Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
