Billy Reace Durham Jr.

Billy was born December 25, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the only child of Billy Reace Sr. & Freddie Brady Durham. He lived in Detroit, Michigan until the age of nine when he and his mother returned to Little Rock where his mother operated a small grocery store on Lamar Street. Bill is a graduate of Central High School class of 1964. After high school he was employed by the Arkansas Highway Department as a draftsman.

After his marriage to Wanda Briant in 1970, he started night classes at U.A.L.R. and graduated from memphis State University with a Bachelors of Science in civil engineering.

Billy is survived by his wife of 53 years Wanda Briant Durham; son Stephan A. (Jenny) Durham and grandsons Jackson & Parker Durham all of Statham, Georgia.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Durham at a later date.
