Billy Wayne Williams, 89, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on November 24th, 2018. He was born on August 6th, 1929 in Maynard, Arkansas to parents William Walter and Mary Williams. Billy was an active member of the LRBAD and Woods Club; and would be considered a true Southern outdoorsman - everything he owned was camo and whatever he killed was what the family was eating for dinner. His favorite food was fried catfish, crappie, hushpuppies and coleslaw. Billy did just about anything involving animals and the outdoors, including fishing, frog gigging, and hunting anything from deer to racoons - but his favorite were mallard ducks. After he met his wife, Linda, they ran off and got married on December 23rd, 1961 in Jacksonville, Arkansas and were blessed with 56 years together. Billy was a wonderful husband, Dad, PawPaw, brother and friend. He had a notoriously outgoing personality, loved to crack jokes and was just always fun to be around. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; 1 daughter: Christine Terrell; 3 sisters: Mary Williams, Lou Rogers, and Imogene Swaringin; and 2 brothers: Douglas and Junior Williams; and 1 grandson: Terry Newingham. He is survived by the love of his life: Linda; 3 daughters: Dollie and Bobbie Williams and Mary Haddock; 4 siblings: Jonell Shumate, Barbara (Fletcher) Davis, John (Patricia) and Clovis (Beth) Williams; 9 grandchildren: Ashley and Amanda Williams, David (Maria), and Tony (Samantha) Newingham, Shaun (Lindsay) Anderson, Andrew Allen, Casara (Ken) Latiolais, Emily (Matt) Middleton, and Krista (Kelly) Gideon, and 24 great grandchildren.
