Bruce H. Cook was born in Pasadena, California, on October 18, 1951. He attended Chaffey High School in Ontario, California. He married his first love, Diana Lynn Coleman, on February 19th, 1972, in Ontario. After high school, he served four years in the United States Navy at Sand Point Navy Base in Seattle, Washington.
After his honorable discharge, he moved from Seattle, Washington, to Martin, Tennessee, where he started his decades-long career in insurance sales, ultimately founding his own company, Risk Reducers.
The success and ultimate sale of Risk Reducers enabled Bruce to later form Castle Properties, where he spent the remainder of his career and where he was able to apply his passion for helping others. Bruce was well known and well respected throughout his business career and leaves behind a legacy for many.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Diana Cook; daughter, Julie Whitaker (Les); son, Steve Cook (Gabby); and Danny Rivera, whom he loved and treated as a son; mother, Mona Cook; nephew, Matthew Cook; brother-in-law, Arnold “Gene” Smith; niece, Sabrina Webb, and her children, Katelyn, Ashley, and Sarah Webb; the children of his late niece, Jeanine Ousley: Blake, Brooke and baby Kinleigh; grandchildren, Carson and Izzy Cook; and Triston and Cole Smith. With the marriage of daughter Julie to Les Whitaker, Bruce gained an Oklahoma family, including grandchildren, Brooke and Drew Branan, Bonnie and Jonathan Swindal, Seth and Kristyn Whitaker, Austin Whitaker, Zach Whitaker, Cole Whitaker, Abby and Ben Solomon Wells; great-grandchildren, Brynn, Beck, Grayson Branan, Eloise and Lucas Swindal, and Finan and Kilian Whitaker.
Bruce is preceded in death by his father, John Cook; brother, Jerald Cook; sister, Connie Cook Smith; niece, Jeanine Ousley; and five uncles; mother-in-law, June Coleman; nephews, Jeromi and Kevin Coleman; great-grandson, Oliver Swindal; and several long-time best friends.

A visitation for Bruce will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, Arkansas 72002. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 5, 2024 at 3:00 PM, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, Arkansas 72002. A celebration of life with dinner will occur Friday, April 5, 2024 at 5:00 PM at The Cook Home, 19607 Hunters Woods Dr., Little Rock, AR 72210.
