Born on November 15, 1953, to Bitha Hutto and William T. Hutto, Buster was a devoted husband, father, Papa, and friend. He lived a life defined by dedication, humility, and an unwavering love for his family.
Buster was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jessie “Paulette” Hutto, with whom he shared many wonderful years. She was the love of his life, and her passing left a void that could never be filled. He was also preceded in death by his son, Chris Hogan, as well as three brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his loving children: Crystal Lee, Ashley Hutto, Elizabeth Marsh, and Adam Hogan. He is also survived by his sister, Betty, and her husband, Bill, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
He was a proud and loving Papa to Michael and his wife, Karlye, along with their children, Kasin, Dravin, and Damon; Shaunte and her husband, Bryan, along with their children, Maylee, Maddox, and Mason; Savannah and her daughter, Ashtyn; Peyton Hutto; Bethany Hutto; Matthew Hogan and his wife, Raven; Justin Marsh; Skyler Marsh; Hayden Marsh; Alicia Hogan; and Mackenzie Marsh. His grandchildren brought him endless joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Buster dedicated 45 years of his life to O’Neal Steel, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment. He took great pride in providing for his family and earned the respect of those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Outside of work, Buster found happiness in the simple things. He loved fishing, spending quiet time outdoors, and sitting outside with his thoughts, finding peace in nature. Those who knew him will remember his quiet strength, kind heart, and steady presence.
Although our hearts are heavy with his passing, we take comfort in knowing that he is reunited with the love of his life, Paula, and his son, Chris. His legacy of love, perseverance, and devotion to family will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
Thomas “Buster” Hutto will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
