Christopher Woodrow Womble, age 73, passed on June 26, 2026; He was born November 18, 1952, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Irene Womble. A lifelong resident of the Rose City community of North Little Rock, he was affectionately known by many as the "Gentle Giant." His kind heart, welcoming spirit, and larger-than-life presence left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Dianne Marcrum of Republic, Missouri; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, AR 72002, US, on July 2, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will take place at Pinecrest Funeral Home, on July 3, 2026, at11:00 am. He will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Rose City Recreation Center in his honor.
