Daniel Herman Bohn, age 76, passed away on August 21, 2023, in Benton. He is survived by his wife, Kay; daughter, Danyel (Nick) Gates; step-daughter, Kimberly (Kenneth) Aden; step-son, Ryan (Wylie) Barker; grandchildren, Alex Bohn, Kristina Garlington, Jackson Gates, and 2 great-grandsons. Dan is also survived by his brother, Steven (Jackie) Bohn; Karlene (Chuck) Garlington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl & Gladys Inez Bohn.
Dan was in the United States Navy from 1966 through 1968 and was very proud of his time on the USS Randolph. Dan worked for Nabisco Food Company for 21 years. Dan married the love of his life, Kay, in 1983 and they spent the next 40 years enjoying life together. They bought Langenwalter Carpet Cleaning & Water Restoration in 1998, which they turned into a successful business venture thanks to good customer service & Dan’s business skills. Dan & Kay have enjoyed many vacations with their friends, Steve & Gwen Minor, often referring to them as brother & sister. Dan loved muscle cars, 50’s music and playing poker, but most of all he loved his family.
The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday August 25, 2023, at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72202.
