Deloras Charlene Manuel

I wanted to share the news of the passing of Deloras C. Manuel, a cherished long-time resident of Little Rock, AR. Deloras passed away on February 28, 2026, in Temple, TX. Born in Houston, TX in 1944, she later moved to Shreveport, LA, before settling in Little Rock, where she spent most of her life. Deloras devoted her career to caring for others, working as a Registered Nurse and retiring from Baptist Health in 2008. She was also a dedicated member of Agape Church.

Deloras leaves behind a loving family: her three daughters, Deborah Barnes and husband Billy, Rebecca Holden and husband Lon, Leona Smith and husband Paul, as well as her brother, Norbert Knox. She is also survived by several grandchildren, a great grandson, and numerous nephews and nieces. Her memory will live on in all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Austin Hassell, stepfather Robert Knox, brother Charles “Chuck” Hassell and his wife Lisa, and her beloved mother, Emma B. Knox.

Viewing and services to honor Deloras’s life will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander, AR, on Friday March 6, 2026 with service starting at 9:00 AM and visitation one hour prior at 8:00 AM followed by burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park. We invite all who knew Deloras to join us in celebrating her remarkable life and legacy.
