

Dora Allene Adams met Clarence Howard Adams in New York and they were married In Indianapolis, Indiana, in September of 1946. They were married 22 years and had 5 children.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Jane Dascomb, and one brother, Clarence Dascomb. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Roy Adams, her mother, Melissa Benson, Erhard, Dascomb, and 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Including her descendants and spouses she was blessed with a family of 80. Her surviving children are: Suzanna D. Osburn (Charles), Gary A. Adams, Karan J. Stewart (Howard), Debra M. Hanson (Chet), daughter-in-law Karen Adams Jackson (James). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and their spouses, 40 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Mammaw, as most called her, enjoyed crocheting Afghans for all her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being a stay at home mom when her children were young. Throughout her life she worked numerous jobs. She retired as PBX operator at Rogers Hall and as a state auditor for the Arkansas Labor Department. She was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, Arkansas. She was surrounded by her loving family when she took her final trip to Heaven.
A visitation for Dora will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:30 AM at North Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 1901 Mission Road, North Little Rock, AR, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
