Evelyn Pullman

Evelyn leaves behind a crowd of people who love her, including a family who adores her and many friends whose lives have been enriched by knowing her.

Evelyn was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and entered the work force while still a teenager. She graduated from Little Rock High School (Central).

She became the youngest Office Manager in the entire Metropolitan Life Insurance company. Later, she worked for the City of North Little Rock in the Purchasing Department, then the Finance Department. Before she retired, she joined Hallmark Loan and Investment Corporation and rose to the position of Vice President.

Evelyn sang from the time she was a toddler until only days before she passed away. She directed choir for many years at Holiday Hills United Methodist Church.

While married to Gaddy Powell, Evelyn had three children: Nancy Carol, Connie Eileen, and Gregory Alan. She was an impeccable mother.

Later, she married James H. Pullman, Jr. and became the stepmother to his two children, Pam and Greg.

Left behind to miss Evelyn are her three children and their spouses: Nancy’s husband, Steve Carlton; Connie’s husband, Jim Bauldree; and Greg’s wife, Brenda Powell; one stepson, Greg Pullman and his wife, Letha; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Evelyn led a godly life and loved that her offspring followed her example.

Visitation for Evelyn will be on January 16, 2023, at Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander, AR at 1:00 p.m., with the service following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m.
