

Florence Jean “Jeannie” Fratesi Culpepper, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. She was born on February 25, 1943 in Pine Bluff Arkansas, the daughter of Julius and Irma Reginelli Fratesi. Florence “Jeannie” Culpepper was a homemaker and active parishioner of St. Theresa’s Church from 1966-1998 and Sacred Heart of Jesus from 1998-2024. She was devoted to her Catholic faith as a member of the Altar Society, Eucharistic Ministry, Charismatic Renewal of the 1970s, Women’s Prison Ministry, and Light to the Nations prayer group at St. John’s Center. She volunteered to assist blind couples and families with transportation, shopping and meals. Her family and friends remember her as a loving and caring person that thrived when helping others. She was best remembered in her large Italian family as a great cook and gardener.
Jeanine was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Wayne Culpepper Sr., her parents Julius and Irma Fratesi, sisters Theresa Smith, Mary Ann Herman, Lena Mae Stewart, and brother, Joe Fratesi. She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Ringler, Kenneth W. Culpepper Jr. and Robert Culpepper, her brother Robert Fratesi, sisters Lorraine Burns, Betsy Wooley, and Judy Bennett, seven grandchildren, one great grandson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation for Florence will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, Arkansas 72002. A rosary will occur Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, Arkansas 72002. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St Theresa's Catholic Church, 6219 Baseline Rd, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209. She will be laid to rest immediately following mass at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Theresa’s Altar Society.
