Geneva Madine Lane

Geneva Madine Lane, 81, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away September 2, 2022. Geneva was born to John and Lola Claghorn on February 12, 1941 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Geneva graduated T.J. Raney high school in 1959. After high school she was a homemaker, she volunteered for Lawson Elementary school, as well as enjoying sewing and canning. After her kids graduated school she went to work at KinderCare and retired from there. A devoted member of Arkansas Sabbath Fellowship. Geneva had a strong faith and loved the Lord.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James N. Lane; brothers, Earnest and Luther Claghorn; and sister, Margie Lane.

She is survived by her children, Melanie Lane, Genine Plunkett (Chuck), James H. Lane (Sarah Beth). She was a second mother to the entire family.

Visitation will take place Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HWY 5 N, Alexander, AR, 72002. Graveside services will follow shortly after at 2:00 PM at Martin Cemetery, 9256-9342 Sibley Hole Road, Little Rock, AR, 72209.
