Henry "Gus" Augustine Mooney

Henry Augustine (Gus) Mooney, age 73, of Little Rock died Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Baptist health Medical Center where he was being treated for COVID-19. Born July 6, 1948, in Little Rock, he was the son of the late Harry Augustine and Rubye Jean Mooney. He was a 1966 graduate of Catholic High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Tacoma, Washington. Gus attended Arkansas State University on a baseball scholarship. He retired from Central Pipe Supply as an inside sales representative. Gus is survived by his sister, Carol Mooney Cassil, nephews Aaron Davis and Jordan Davis, cousin William (Bill) Mooney and Bill’s children Rusty Mooney and Missy Morehart, grandnieces Kinsley Davis, Norah Davis and Kendyll Davis, and grandnephew Aiden Davis.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park on Highway 5 North in Bryant.

Memorials may be made to Catholic High School or the USO.
