Ila Bea McKeever, age 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. She was born on May 31,1935, in Kingsland, Arkansas to the late Jim Bob and Dot Towery. In addition to her parents, Ila was preceded in death by her sister, Marguerite (Marcus) Starnes; brother, Bob (Peggy) Towery; nephew, Preston Towery, and great-nephew, Daniel Starnes.
Ila, with her quick wit and infectious sense of humor, touched the lives of many through her 35 years as a dedicated nurse. Her compassion extended beyond her profession, as she devoted countless hours to volunteer work. Ila cherished every moment with her beloved cat and found joy in the company of her family. Her warm spirit and unwavering dedication will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Ila's memory include her son, Pete McKeever; daughter Toni (Shawn) McKeever; grandson, Brandon Cook; nephew, Fred (Pam) Starnes; nieces, Linda (Cliff) Fox, Ginger (Russ) Comeaux, and Suzette Goodman; two great nieces, and two great nephews; as well as a host of other beloved friends and family.
