James Paul “Jim” Clouette, 75, of St. Joe, Arkansas, was born December 13, 1946. Son of Paul and Catherine Clouette. He is survived by his children; Kyle (Melisa), Joshua, and Jamie Cork (Wayne). Grandchildren are; Emily Smock, Jacy Levinsky Cork, and Claire Clouette, and one sister, Nina Rowe (Jimmy). Jim was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
In Clouette’s younger years, he developed a love for baseball and basketball. He played basketball at West Side Jr. High, Little Rock Central High and was awarded a basketball scholarship to Hendrix College. There he learned to play golf and later won several tournaments.
While working at AP&L after graduation, he began to study for a law degree. Upon completion, he began practice as a defense attorney and continued this for over forty years.
Clouette retired to the Ozarks near Buffalo River. He died February 4, 2022. Graveside service will be June 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM, Forrest Hills Cemetery, Hwy 5 N, Bryant, Arkansas.
