Jayce was an old soul with a heart full of kindness and a spirit that shone brightly in every life he touched. He loved deeply, was extremely loyal, laughed easily, and lived with purpose beyond his years. He had the ability to always make people laugh with his quick wit and charm. A proud Benton High School alum, Class of 2024, Jayce was a gifted trumpet player whose passion for music defined much of his journey. He loved classical, jazz, and indie music and had a gift for feeling it more deeply than most. He was studying biology at the University of Arkansas, aspiring to become an anesthesiologist. Jayce loved his mother with a deep and unbreakable bond, adored his sister River as a best friend, protector, and hero. He found joy in the simple beauties of life: coffee, the beach, family, friends, the holiday season, and the love he shared with his girlfriend, Hope.
