Jerald Clifford McKinney

Jerald Clifford McKinney, known to his friends as Cliff and family as Buddy, was born in Little Rock on September 22, 1949 to Jerald "Doc" McKinney and Edna McKinney. He entered Heaven on October 30, 2021. He earned his bachelors at Southern Arkansas University and masters at Oklahoma State University. He married his wife of forty-nine years, Patricia (Pridgen) McKinney, and they had one son. After serving in the Army, he spent most of his career at the Arkansas Department of Transportation where he was an intermodal transportation planner. He lived in Benton and enjoyed retirement with his family. He was active in his community and served on the Board of Directors for the Hurricane Lake Estates Property Owners Association. They attended Hurricane Lake Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife; his son, Cliff McKinney, daughter-in-law, Karen, and granddaughters Katherine and Megan of Benton; his sister, Rozalyn Bradley, and brother-in-law Bob, and their daughter, Suzanne Kinney and great-nieces Chloe and Brianna, of Phoenix, AZ.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Pinecrest Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Pinecrest Funeral Home.
