

Jerry L. Kirkpatrick, age 85, of Vilonia, Arkansas, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on September 13, 1940, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Jerry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
Jerry was a proud mechanic who spent many years working at Bale Chevrolet and Balch Oldsmobile, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and customers alike. His mechanical skills were unmatched, and his work ethic was second to none.
In 1960, Jerry married the love of his life, Olivia Kirkpatrick, and they shared 66 wonderful years together. Their union was blessed with three children: Sherry Rhodes (David), Doug Kirkpatrick (Tracy), and Todd Kirkpatrick. He was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren. Jerry was a dedicated family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones, and he was a pillar of strength and support for his family.
Jerry’s passions were rooted in the outdoors. He loved crappie fishing, hunting, and was a lifetime member of the Frank Clark Hunting Club. Whether it was a quiet day on the water or an adventurous day in the woods, Jerry found joy in the simple pleasures of nature, especially when shared with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Olivia Kirkpatrick; children, Sherry Rhodes (David), Doug Kirkpatrick (Tracy), and Todd Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Clayton Zimmerman (Tiffany), Kayleigh Rhodes, Marcus Zimmerman, Adam Kirkpatrick, Zachary Kirkpatrick (Amanda), Taylor Kirkpatrick (Joie), Hunter Kirkpatrick (Chasity), and Gabe Kirkpatrick; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Paula Smith and Karen Speer. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Kirkpatrick and Jessie Gentry.
A visitation will be held on Monday March 23, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home. With the service being held at Pinecrest Funeral Home on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
