Jewell Forrest Crowson

Jewell Forrest Crowson, 81, of Bauxite went to be with his Lord on March 10, 2023. He was born February 7, 1942 in Bauxite to Gene and Lois Crowson. Jewell was a devoted Christian, loving husband, and wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather. He and his wife, Glenda were long-time members of Family Church in Bryant. He enjoyed NASCAR stock series and radio controlled air planes. He was a ham radio operator and his call sign was N5GMR. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Glenda Crowson; children: Lynette Westbrook, Gregory Crowson, and Todd (Darcy) Crowson; grandchildren: John Chadwick (Jill) Westbrook, Chasity Bowie, Christen (Luke) Alsup, and Emily (Nathan) Hotchkiss; great grandchildren: Brooklyn Westbrook, Kenzie Bowie, Maci Bowie, Hayley Alsup, Hayden Alsup, John Ross Alsup, Everett Hotchkiss, and Carter Hotchkiss; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Lois Crowson; and siblings: Bobbie Wilson, Janie Jackson, and Andy Crowson. A visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Pinecrest Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
