Jimmye Sue Spann, 82, of Cabot, Arkansas, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 2, 2026. Born on April 15, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Floy and Raymond Bumgardner.
Sue attended Central High School in Little Rock, where she met her high school sweetheart, Nolan Spann. The couple married in 1962 and shared 29 years together. She enjoyed a successful career with TransAmerica Insurance before retiring. Sue was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and caring nature, leaving a lasting impression on her coworkers, friends, and family.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Nolan Spann.
She is survived by her sister, Ramona Brant; her two sons, Jeffrey Nolan Spann (Donette) and Gregory Curtis Spann (Sandra); and her beloved grandchildren, Kristen Spann, Kayla Spann, Allie Kelsey (Conner), Brent Spann, Ashley Matsuy (Ramon), Zachary Spann, Justin Stump, and Katelyn Stump. She also leaves behind five cherished great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026, at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 Highway 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. There will be no graveside service.
