JoAnn Lamb

JoAnn was raised in Paris, Tennessee, where she attended E.W. Grove High School. It was there she met John Lamb in 1959, and the two soon, married. JoAnn and John shared 48 years of marriage, and he was the love of her life.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, John Douglas Lamb; her parents, Clarence and Buton Scott; her brother, Edward Scott; and her sister, Mary Laster.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Lamb (Sharon) and Scott Lamb (Kathleen), and stepson Randy Patrick. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Kali Evans (Dennis), Cory Lamb (Katherine), Amy Floyd (Charles), Kelsey Goyette (Taylor), Justin Lamb (Alexa), Tyler Lamb, Tristen Floyd, Natilee Lamb, and MacKenzie Lamb, as well as 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Before retiring, JoAnn worked at Smurfit-Stone Corrugated. She had a gift for sewing, including doing alterations for wedding dresses, and she took great joy in crafting and spending time with her grandchildren. JoAnn was a faithful and active member of Markham Street Baptist Church, where her love for the Lord was evident in her heart for volunteering and serving others.

JoAnn will be remembered for her generous spirit, her creativity, and the countless lives she touched through her faith and her willingness to give of her time. She leaves behind a legacy of love, craftsmanship, and devotion to family and community.

A family graveside service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements are entrusted to Pinecrest Funeral Home, Alexander, Arkansas.
