To a great man, who always had an open door and listening ear. Never hesitated to help others and share his knowledge and heart. Thank you for all of the great memories in Hackberry, LA and here in Arkansas.

I go to prepare a place for you for where I am you will also be. So happy Smokey is with our Lord and Savior Jesus in the place with many rooms and he shall have no more pain. I know we will all see each other again, save a place for us my friend, we will miss seeing you setting on your front porch but hey we will think about you forever. He was a sweetheart of a guy and always said to us when we parted, “I love you, go tell someone about Jesus” . Our prayers are with Lola , his wife and best friend and the rest of his family and friends. Fly high our friend and brother in Christ.

My sweet (if a guy can be sweet😢) brother John . . Though the miles have separated us for many years . . . Causing visits to be far and few between . . Still sharing a special bond. As technology grew “texting” allowed for an early (like sometimes 5:00 a.m.) morning
“I Love You”. I will miss him a lot, as will the rest of his family and many friends.
Check out 2 Corinthians 5:8 . . . . . . we are of good courage, say and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. That’s where my brother John is, in the arms of his personal friend the Lord Jesus.
