Joyce was loved by all, her smile and attitude touched people’s lives and hearts. She was a hard worker who started as a baby sitter and worked her way up to an electrical engineer from which she retired at the age of 77. Joyce not only loved people, but loved her dogs. She could not pass by a dog that she did not want to pet and love on. She loved aerosmith and the beatles. Joyce was an avid football starting as a Bears fan but died an Eagles fan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Ed Ice, Jeff Ice (Kathy), and Jon Fougerousse; grandchildren: Nicole Taylor, Logan Ice, Noah Ice, Justin Ice, and Taylor Ice; great grandchild, Chayne Taylor; sister, Sharon Carpenter (Kirby); brother, Mike Simon; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her souldmate, Jerry Fougerousse, Sgt; brother, Tom Simon; parents; and her beloved dog, Chewy.
