Justin Clay Bulloch, beloved father, son, brother, and friend passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his sweet daughter, Avery, his parents, Gary and Sheila Bulloch, his older brother Chris Bulloch and wife Kelly, and his younger brother Dylan Bulloch and wife Lori. Justin is also survived by his 5 nieces and nephews: Henry, Ivy, Savvy, Violet, and Arthur. Justin was blessed with wonderful and supportive relatives, many of whom lived in Arkansas and were a huge part of his life. His dog Elliott already misses him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his "Papa" Allen Samuel Housley, his beloved "Anmother" Lida Ladonia "Donia" Housley, “Grand-Daddy” Victor Bulloch, and “Nana” Carolyn Bulloch. Justin was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. He attended Williams Magnet and Parkview High School. From a young age, he was a creative, quick-witted, and spirited individual that wasn't afraid to push the envelope and explore. He had a close and special bond with his parents, who loved him deeply and were always his biggest cheerleaders.
He loved music and played his guitar and sang at local events. He always supported friends and family on the local arts scene, and especially loved going to venues like Vino’s, Juanita’s, and The Rev Room to watch his brother, Dylan and cousin Stuart play with their bands.
Justin had a profound love for animals and nature. His parents have a long list of exotic pets, including pink footed tarantulas and ferrets, that he had during his childhood and teenage years, which continue to be a funny memory at family gatherings. In his adulthood, Justin was a dog dad. He loved his "fur babies" Kodi, Elliott, and Jaya, and they loved him. He always had such a gentle way with animals, and so much love to give. He was always fascinated by flowers and different plants, so much that he was able to identify them easily and would be our go-to person when needing advice on gardening or plant care.
Justin had the biggest heart and most devoted soul. His empathetic nature led him to feel others’ joy and sorrow as if it were his own. He was a loyal, "ride or die" kind of person who loved the people in his circle with every ounce of his being, and we all felt it. He also had a sharp sense of humor and cracked some great one liners at family gatherings. He was truly one of a kind, and we are going to miss his huge heart.
Justin’s daughter, Avery, was his everything. The day he learned he was going to be a father was the most joyous day of his life. They made so many happy memories together over the past 5, nearly 6, years of her life, and his happiest moments were the ones he spent with Avery. We will all cherish the memory of their Father/Daughter dances. She was and always will be his greatest love: always and forever.
A visitation for Justin will be held Monday, March 11, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas 72002. The funeral followed by a burial service will occur Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 11:30 AM also at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
