Karen Suzanne Moore, 61, met Jesus on October 19th, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer. She was born July 10, 1964, to Wayne and Pat Moore. She attended Bryant High School where she made lifelong friendships, many walking this journey alongside her even in her final days. She moved to Texas and raised two daughters. She retired from Tarrant County in 2018 after 23 years and got to focus on being a Gigi, making memories with her kids and grandkids!
She loved being at the lake and on her boat. She enjoyed doing puzzles and beating anyone that would play her in cards. She loved adventure and traveling. She lived life to the fullest and her laugh brightened every room. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger.
Keeping her memory alive are her parents, Wayne and Pat; sister, Renee, husband Richard, and nephew Trey; daughter, Kelsey, husband Michael and their two boys Stetson and Summit; daughter, Katelyn, husband Richie, and their four girls, Blakelynn, Whitleigh, Rylie and Leighton; along with many other family and friends she loved dearly. She is also preceded in death by loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 2:00PM, with visitation hour starting at 1:00PM, at Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander, Arkansas. In honor of her favorite color and Pancreatic Cancer Awareness, we invite you to wear purple to her service.
A team, ‘Miles for Moore’, has been created in Karen’s honor for the PanCan Purple Stride walk that takes place in April. Anyone is welcome to join us or donate to help others fight this!
