Kenneth Harold Cadman, age 91, of Alexander, entered his heavenly home on September 4, 2023, at his home. He was born January 11, 1932, to the late Grier Cadman and Edna (Davies) Cadman in Hughestown, PA. Kenneth is also preceded in death by his son, David Cadman.
Kenneth served 20 plus years in the USAF and retired as Master Sergeant. He served tours in Turkey and Viet Nam and several locations in the United States. He always talked about liking Alaska the most and always wanted to return to visit. He served in Accounting and Finance.
After he retired from the Air Force he began working in the banking industry. He graduated from School for Bank Administration at University of Wisconsin. He retired from First Commercial Bank after 25 years. He was Vice President/Manager over the cash management area. His last and final retirement was from Metropolitan National Bank after 14 years.
In Kenneth’s spare time (and after retirement) Kenneth was a master woodworker. He loved making pieces of furniture such as armoires and cabinets. Once he made all cabinets and other pieces to complete an office. Many friends and family benefited from his talents.
He served on the executive committee for Muscular Dystrophy Association and volunteered with the Jerry Lewis Telethon. In 1978 Kenneth’s son, David, was the poster child for the state of Arkansas. In 2002 Kenneth was honored for 30 years of dedication and support for Muscular Dystrophy.
Kenneth loved his grandchildren and attended all games and activities. When the great grandchildren came along, he enjoyed them when they visited. They adored him too and always had hugs and kisses when they left.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jeanne (Plush) Cadman; children, Cathy Gregory (Paul) of Little Rock, Larry Vint of Alexander, and Scott Vint of Alexander; Melissa Pipkin (Tim) of Alexander; grandchildren: Jonathan Pipkin of Alexander, Justin Catlett (David) of Hot Springs, Jacob Pipkin (Brittany) of Alexander, Stephanie Daniels (Austin) of Jacksonville, and Carrie Vint of Malvern; and great grandchildren: Trinity, Jonathan II, Fisher, Noah, Guinevere, Jaxie, and Jacob Jr.
Visitation will be 10:00 am, Monday, September 11, 2023, at Pinecrest Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be at a later date.
The family would like to thank Baptist Health Hospice who helped Kenneth and our family through his journey of Dementia/Parkinson’s disease.
