Maria Guadalupe Hurtado, age 93, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. Maria was born in la Union de San Antonio, Jalisco, Mexico. She was born on August 26, 1931, to the late Jose Hurtado and Andrea Maciel. In addition to her parents, Maria was preceded in death by her son, Bartolo Gutierrez.
She is survived by her husband, Jose Cleotilde Gutierrez; and her children, Maria A. Peña, Ernestina Guerra, Felipe Gutierrez, Guillermo Gutierrez, Juan M. Gutierrez, Ofelia Gutierrez, Eduardo Gutierrez, Trinidad Perez, Macario Gutierrez, Jose C. Gutierrez, and Gilberto Gutierrez; 63 grandchildren, 141 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family and loved ones.
A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, AR 72002. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, July 31, 2025, 12:00 PM at St Theresa's Catholic Church, 6219 Baseline Rd, Little Rock, AR 72209.
