She was reared and received her early education at Rison and was a 1944 graduate of Rison High School.
She was a secretary with Entergy Corp. in Pine Bluff and Little Rock before retiring in 1989. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Jake Sadler, Jr. and James C. “Red” Bennett; son, Bill Sadler; and sisters: Dorothy Gavin and Frances Wilson.
Survivors include her son, Bob (Debra) Sadler; step-son, Jim Bennett; step-daughter, Bettye Johnson; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and extended family.
