Marilyn Rose Carter

Marilyn Rose Carter, age 78, of Little Rock passed away on Sunday, January 4th, 2015. She was born on March 23rd, 1936 and was a dedicated wife and mother who showered her family and friends with her abundant love. She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church and loved spending time at the Bryant Senior Activity Center where she had acquired many special friends. She was raised in Fairview, AR and was proceeded in death by her parents, Richard and Gracie (Spann) Parris; and husband, Jerry Carter.

She is survived by her son, Doug Carter (Judy); four daughters, Jerri Farmin (Mitch), Lisa Carter, Marla Alderson (Tom) and Kara Carter; two honorary daughters she lovingly referred to as adopted, Diane Honomichl (Ralph) and Sherry Farrow; four grandchildren, Blake Carter (Lisa), Tyler Carter (Sophie), Kristen Farmin and Katie Farmin; two great-grandchildren, Austin Carter and Owen Carter; her brother, Ralph Parris and sister Floy Moody.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm at Griffin Leggett - Forest Hills Funeral Home at 10200 Hwy. 5 N, Alexander, AR on Wednesday, January 7th.

Funeral services will also be held at this location at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 8th with burial following at Forrest Hills Cemetery.
