

Marvin was born on July 5, 1939, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to RD Kee and Frances Elizabeth Fowler Kee. He graduated from Monette High School in 1957 and went on to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). In 1963, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
Following college, Marvin built a successful career as an industrial engineer and owner of Arkansas Industrial Machinery. He was proud of his work and was known for his dedication, ingenuity, and strong work ethic.
Faith and service were important parts of Marvin’s life. Marvin became a Christian at a young age. His testimony left a legacy of faith. He was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club of North Little Rock and participated in mission trips to places including Guatemala and Africa. His willingness to give his time and talents to help others was an important part of who he was.
In his free time, Marvin enjoyed golfing and woodworking. He especially treasured time spent with his family and took great pride in the lives and accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.
Marvin is survived by his beloved wife, Waunda Kee; daughters, Robin Bishop and Patti Bennett (Mark); stepson, Bart Perrier (Barbara); stepdaughter, Buffie Osburn (Larry); and his grandchildren, Brooke Hamilton, Taylor Hamilton(Baillie), Caitlin Elkins (Chris), Elizabeth Jester (Cole), Andrew Bennett (Abby), Crystal Osburn, Brittany Osburn, Jay Perrier, Payton Perrier (Katelyn), Christian Perrier, and Grace Perrier. Marvin had numerous great grandchildren who he adored.
He is also survived by his brothers, Robert D. Kee(Katherine) and Dan B. Kee(Debbie); sisters, Linda Owens and Susan Welch(Jerry); and numerous nieces and nephews .
Marvin leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, hard work, and love for his family. His kindness, generosity, sense of purpose, and willingness to serve others will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday August 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home.
