Mary Irene Murry

She was preceded in death by her six siblings, Thelma Dunn, Alfred (Peck) Neal, Christina Posey, Gladys O'Neal, Coverlyn Lea, and Fred Neal. Also, by her husband, Raymond A Murry Sr.; daughter, Mary Lee Navarro; son, Raymond A Murry Jr.; and granddaughter, Michele Gilliam Bearden.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Gilliam and Brenda Lewellen of Bryant; and her son, Carroll E Murry of Alexander; eight grandchildren, Misti Navarro Boomsliter (Kerry) of San Jose, CA, Robin Navarro Strong (Ben) of Saratoga, CA, Eric Navarro (Melanie) of Gilroy, CA, Melissa Stewart (Kent) and Ben Lewellen (Melanie) of Bryant, Allen Murry of North Little Rock, and TJ Gilliam (Melanie) of Cedar Park, TX.

She was "BooBoo" to her 17 great grandchildren, Jordan Boomsliter and Connor Boomsliter of San Jose, CA, Hayden Stewart (Mindi) and Jillian Battaglia (Collin) of Benton, AR, Nathaniel and Aiden Strong of Saratoga, CA, Raymond Murry Ill and Casey Murry of North Little Rock, AR, Lacey Lewellen York (Josh) of Texarkana, TX, Trey and Mary Claire Gilliam of Cedar Park, TX, Anthony and Ember and Mary Navarro of Gilroy, CA, Ethan Bearden of Benton, AR, as well as Nathan and Drew Lewellen of Bryant; three great-great granddaughters, Ronnie Lynn Battaglia, Angel Battaglia, and Genevieve Stewart.

Mary was a lifelong member of Crystal Baptist Church. Through the years she sang in the choir and participated in many other areas of church. She especially enjoyed the Senior Adult Ministry. She was a lifetime member of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). She earned her GED at the age of 70.

Visitation will be held at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, 18823 Crystal Valley Rd, Little Rock, AR 72210, on March 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm, also at the church. Mary will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Crystal Hill Cemetery.
