Our Beloved Mary Ellen Myers, age 93 of Little Rock stepped into her heavenly home May 20th, 2015. She was born July 23rd, 1921, to the late Jim Baldwin and Minnie Bosshart in Little Rock, AR. She was a Loving Mom and Mamaw to her family. Our “Mamaw” was feisty lady, who loved to laugh, spoke her mind, and was full of life. She Loved the Lord and Adored her Family. She lived for the moments we would visit her. She wasn’t a wealthy woman by the worlds standards, but one thing she had in abundance was precious Moments with her children, Grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a second Mom to all of us, Never turning any one away, even when we might have felt we deserved it. We always knew No matter how low life would get or how high , we would always be welcomed into her home with open arms and a hot meal she seemed to whip up out of thin air. She would always greet us with “I Love You, I prayed for You Today” And when we would leave we would hear her say, “What’s your Hurry?” (No matter how long we had been with her and how late it was when we left.) Not many people can say that they were loved unconditionally and prayed for by name EVERY DAY, but until May 21st 2015, all of her family, those of us that loved her, could. She was an amazing woman and will be forever missed. She was proceeded in death by her brother John Baldwin, and her sisters Lela Cellars, Pearl Koen, Francis Filipowicz, daughters Betty Tucker, Diana Taylor, Sons Bobby Cellars and Dale Scott Myers. She is survived by her son Teddy Myers and daughter in law Cindy Myers of Vilonia, AR., and daughter Mary McElhaney and son in law Albert McElhaney of Maumelle, AR.: 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
