

Max was born a farmer’s son from Mt Vernon, AR. At a young age Max joined the United States Army during the Korean War where he served time in Germany. After he was discharged, he went on to pursue a career in HVAC as a service technician. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 155 for over 65 years. Max enjoyed, most of all, hunting and fishing with his son, Dan, and grandsons, Cody and Clayton. He also never missed a baseball game for his grandson, Spencer. He played guitar and harmonica. He shared his love of country music with his daughter Tina. Max, along with his late wife, Pat, were members of Western Hills United Methodist Church. They enjoyed country swing dancing and were members of the Conway Two Steppers dance club.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Patsy (Pat) Lou Walker; an infant son, Keith Walker; three brothers; four sisters; and his parents.
Max is survived by his children, Dan Max Walker (Cecilia) and Tina Lou Worden (Charles); Grandchildren, Cody Max Walker (Casey), Clayton McBride Walker (Keirstien), Spencer Ross Davis (Rachel), and Rachel Worden; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation, funeral service, and burial will be held Monday, December 11th, at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas 72002.
Visitation: 11:00am.
Funeral service: 12:00pm.
He will be laid to rest, at Pinecrest, following the funeral service.
