

Melony Jayne Moore, age 68, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. She was born on May 18, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Lesile Beale and Shirley (Taggart) Blanchard. In addition to her parents, Melony is preceded in death by step-father, Charles Blanchard; grandparents, Thomas and Ethel Taggart; great-grandparents, Granny and Harriet Beale; husband, Robert Martin; and husband, Charles Moore.
Melony lived a life filled with dedication, hard work, and a deep love for music and the people around her. Her career was as diverse as her interests—she served her community as an EMT, drove ambulances with unwavering commitment, and worked as a medical assistant. She took pride in her various roles, from school security and bus driver to remodeling Walmart stores and working as a cashier. Her time at the Little Rock Airport and in security showcased her adaptability and resilience. Despite her busy career, Melony was a devoted homemaker, always making time for family and friends. In her quieter moments, she found joy in the timeless sounds of Elvis Presley and the Beatles, and she adored Elvis movies like Blue Hawaii and King Creole. Musicals and all kinds of music filled her life with warmth and happiness. Melony’s legacy is one of strength, kindness, and a love for life that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Melony's memory include daughter, Melissa (Charlie) Keene; granddaughter, Rosemarie Keene; as well as a host of many beloved family and friends.
